Aslan & Applin

With Aslan Hodges and Doug Applin. 10am-Noon

Aslan Hodges comes to ESPN 1077 and 700 AM after stints in Montana and most recently Jackson, Mississippi where his sportscasts were awarded with multiple top honors by the Associated Press. Aslan was also host of a college football pregame show on Jackson’s ESPN Radio affiliate and a sideline reporter for the Mississippi High School Activities Association.

He’s not an Alabama homer, nor an Auburn homer, Aslan is a proud graduate of Florida State University. He is excited to be an easy drive from his hometown of Tampa, a stone’s throw from his alma mater and to provide the Wiregrass with the most comprehensive coverage of local sports.

You can catch Aslan weekdays at 5:30, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. on WTVY and in the mornings right here on ESPN 1077 and 700 AM. E-mail him at aslan@wiregrassradio.com to share your extraordinary sports achievements…and to let him know where the best BBQ in town is or where he can roll his mat out for some yoga.
